At Sodexo Justice Services, we’ve been helping to change lives for the better since 1993. We do this in over 120 sites across the world, including the total operation of four prisons in the UK.
Our reputation for delivering excellent, ethical, innovative and rehabilitative services is built on our complete package of custodial and noncustodial justice services for offenders, ex-offenders and those at risk of entering the criminal justice system. We pride ourselves on delivering services that provide best value for clients, taxpayers and society.
We are a leading provider of justice services and trusted partner to UK government, in the Uk we operate:
HMP Peterborough in Cambridgeshire
HMP Forest Bank in Manchester
HMP Bronzefield in Surrey
HMP Addiewell in West Lothian, Scotland
Our passion is to change lives for the better. And our people have a big part to play in that, by:
Working with clients and partners to protect the public
Helping to reduce crime by challenging offending behaviour
Offering individuals the opportunity to change
Our work doesn’t start or stop at the prison wall. In addition to 20 years’ experience of rehabilitating offenders, we run accommodation, support and drug services with links in community too.
The Government has called for prisons to become places of real work and meaningful activity — and we’re leading the way through workshops and skills training.
In this unique area of our business, you can choose from a range of career paths, all focused on improving people’s lives.
Originally established in 1999 it has since grown to become the leading importer of Korean food in the UK. We offer the widest range of Korean products in the UK and have an extensive range of Japanese, Chinese and Thai products. Our main warehouse is in New Malden where we have been serving the local community since 1999. We have extended our wholesale distribution to cover the whole of the UK supplying many of the major cities.
We make regular deliveries and have plans to extend our fleet of vehicles to service many of our customers. We are continually investing in our logistics and aim to offer customers the best possible service we can deliver and have plans to improve our supply chain to satisfy demand. We also have plans to expand into Europe and are actively searching new territory to bring our expertise and knowledge of Korean food to them.
Our mission is to promote Korean food. We want to offer an alternative to Chinese, Japanese and Thai food and are working hard in looking at how it can be re-packaged for people to understand its benefits. We are introducing many of the Korean dishes in the Culture section, so make sure you keep on checking back often. Food has often been used to bridge cultures, you may not be able to speak Korean but you can try our food.
Our vision is to see Korean food as part of everybody's healthy diet. Food is easy to understand once you have tasted it, that's why we are working hard to make it as easy as possible for you to understand what Korean food is and why it can be an option. We are here as ambassadors for Korean food and work to promote and innovate this exciting and expanding sector. There used to be just a handful of Korean restaurants in London but now there are over 40 restaurants and more opening outside of London.
