Ashford Town (Middlesex) Ladies progressed to the semi-finals of the Bostik League Women's Cup after a 10-2 victory over Margate Ladies.
Three hatricks were recorded on the day from Ashley Cheatley (x4), Lavana Neufville (x3) and Alissa Down (x3), all getting themselves on the score sheet.
It was a game full of positives for the home side with Down returning to first team action after being side-lined through injury for four weeks. The midfielder marked her return with the pick of the goals, a free kick that flew into the top corner.
Charlotte Baker also returned to action after being out for two months. Baker got through unscathed and proved to be a huge boost to the side.
16 year-old Alex Beauchamp, made her first team debut a week after making her first start for the B Team in their cup game against Headstone Manor.
The defender played 90 minutes and was a stand out performer on the day and no doubt will be making many more appearances for the first team.
The B Teams' top goal scorer Milly Adcock, also earned a place in the squad and put in a performance of he highest quality when introduced just before half time.
Finally, Thursday nights player of the match Gracie Perkis, joined The Tangerines from Denham Ladies this week and the stopper made a pleasing first impression on all present.
