Ashford Town (Middlesex) Ladies scored late on to beat Godalming Town 2-1 and make the semi-finals of the Greater London Women's Football League Trophy on Sunday.
The home side returned back to The Robert Parker Stadium after a string of away matches in a row and it was The Tangerines who started the brighter of the two sides.
Hannah Noonan found herself with time and space on the ball to pick out Holly Isaacs who threaded a pass for Sequoia Belworthy who still had plenty to do however Belworthy managed to beat two defenders and fire in the first goal of the game.
Ashford's tails were up and continued to push forward for a second however Godalming's defending meant the scoreline stayed as it was.
The away side however won a corner just before the half time whistle and headed in to send the sides in level.
Nicole Jacobs and Jess Boyd were introduced in the second half and that allowed Hannah Noonan and Vicky James to move into more offensive positions and this proved to be the difference.
With five minutes left of normal time Charmaine Benham played a short corner into Tyra Mills before Benham delivered a perfectly measured corner for Lavana Neufville to head in.
It is the second time this season Ashford have won against Godalming and also the second semi final The Tangerines have booked a place in.
