GLWFL Division 1 Fixture

After back to back cup fixtures and progression to the quarter finals of the Capital Cup, Ashford Town (Middlesex) Ladies return to league action to face Clapham United at Clapham Common this Sunday.

The Tangerines sit top of the league after winning five of their opening five league games whilst Clapham United sit third after playing eight, winning five and losing three which includes a defeat at the hands of Ashford in the reverse home fixture.

Ashford Ladies won the game 5-0 with Ashley Cheatley grabbing a hatrick, as well as Holly Isaacs and Samara Phillips-Hines also finding the net.

Clapham United have found themselves on the road for five straight games however prove to be strong opposition when at home on the common, so this promises to be a tightly contested affair.
